John R. Gentile, when not writing, works as a physical therapist. He has been an E.M.T. with Mountain Rescue and a rock climber. A sea kayaker and a SCUBA divemaster, John has explored many locations around this blue planet.
John is the author of The SOFAR Trilogy, a non-stop science fiction adventure. Siren's Song, the final chapter in The SOFAR Trilogy brings together all of the memorable characters you grew to love (and hate) in Blue Planets and Offworlder for a grand finale. |

In 2007 John completed his first screenplay with Howard Allen called "A Line in the Sand," which is an epic adventure/love story which takes place on the volatile U.S. Mexican border. Since 1997, John has worked as a naturalist and photographer with his marine biologist/artist wife, Katie Iverson, on a pilot study identifying resident bottlenose dolphins in the upper reaches of the Gulf of California. (Their inflatable boat is the R/V Collapso.) John and Katie will be publishing their research on dolphins, and he has plans to start work on his next novel and screenplay in 2007. John and Katie live in Tucson, Arizona with Marley, the chow chow who doesn't know she is one, and a yard full of desert animals which they fondly call "jurassic cafe". |
